The Greater Rockwall Tennis Association
It's that time of year again! Get ready for our exciting TENNIS CAMPS!!!!!
1. When is camp? June 3-6 & 10-13 @ Heath HS; June 17-20 & July 8-11 @ Wilkerson; July 15-18 @ Heath HS.
2. What days & time? Ages 5-10 is 8-9:30 AM. Ages 11-19 is 9:30-11:30 AM. Monday - Thursday.
3. How much is camp? Each camp is 95.00 per player. A family multiplayer discount is available.
4. How do I register for camp? https://playtennis.USTA.com/RHtennis
5. What if I miss a day? You can make up missed days(s) because of rain or personal issues during any other camp week.
6. Where is camp? Camps #1 & #2 & #5 are at Heath HS. Camps #3 & #4 are at Wilkerson Stadium Courts.
7. What do I need to bring? A large, reusable water bottle, tennis racquet, & athletic clothes/shoes. We do have a few racquets to borrow if you need one. We recommend marking the 10U racquets with your name because they look alike.
8. How do I check in? Players must come to the registration desk daily to get their name tag, which they must wear in camp. You will be given a complimentary t-shirt the first day. Please limit the number of shirts to one per player. Please tell the camp registrar if you are paying by cash or check. You may need to complete an emergency notification form before receiving your player name tag and t-shirt.
9. Weather updates & other notices are posted on our Facebook group page 'Rockwall/Heath Tennis Prep.'
10. How many players & coaches attend camp? We have a minimum of 6 coaches at each camp, plus other staff. The coaching staff consists of Rockwall & Heath high school coaches and tennis pros from R/H Tennis Prep. In addition, we have college players who assist in camp. The 10U camp averages 25 players, and 11 & up average 65. Players are grouped based on ability. Each camp has players with a wide range of abilities. Some have never played, while others are advanced. Each group will be coached according to their abilities.
11. Can parents or guardians stay for camp? Yes. We have seating near each court where you can watch your player. A public restroom is located on the west side of the tennis complex.
